Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Machine Maintenance Mechanic to join our team You will maintain and repair industrial production and processing machinery.

Job Requirements
· Performs maintenance functions making repairs in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic breakdowns under minimal guidance from the maintenance supervisor
· Troubleshoot and perform maintenance duties such as mechanical and electrical repairs
· Under the guidance of the service engineer, works from service manuals, maintenance manuals, and facility equipment schematics
· Must be able to operate all maintenance equipment and exercise all construction equipment safely for the intended purpose
· Assist the supervisor in developing and implementing a preventative maintenance program
· Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure compliance with governmental regulations and company policies
· Complete, on-time, delivery of maintenance services to ensure compliance with company standards for cost control, quality, safety, efficiency, and equipment reliability are achieved
· Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment, machinery, and components as scheduled
· Maintains function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by performing preventive maintenance
· Frequent standing, walking, lifting/carrying 25 pounds or less
· Occasional lifting/carrying 50 pounds or more
· Frequent squatting, bending, pushing and pulling with arms, twisting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, reaching, and grasping
· Occasional pushing and pulling with body and overhead work
· Continuous use of peripheral vision, depth perception, and close vision
· The position requires constant presence in production, machine shop, and compounding areas
Preferred Qualifications
· Moderate exposure to noise
· Eye protection and safety shoes required
· Must have a one-year certificate from college or technical school or a minimum of 1 to 2 years of related experience
· Must have knowledge of and experience with using shop and hand tools
· Must be able to count, add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
