Job Summary
The Mental Health Counselor is responsible for managing the day-to-day mental health components of client treatment plans.This role works closely with the consulting psychiatrist and collaborates with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure comprehensive, high-quality, and client-centered care.
- Provide research-based mental health assessments for new admissions
- Deliver case management services for clients presenting with mental health needs
- Facilitate psychoeducational groups ranging from small group coaching to didactic sessions
- Maintain fidelity to the treatment model,
- Maintain regular communication with team members, external providers, and staff to ensure coordinated service delivery
- Document assessments, group notes, individual session notes,
and clinical visit summaries in EPIC EMR in accordance
with regulatory,
