    SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


    The Supply Chain Analyst will work to support the operations team across all locations and product lines and provide analysis to support optimal inventory decision making.

    The position will work with multiple business functions, including the broader supply chain/procurement team, the operating team managers, and the finance & accounting team.

    Specifically, the position will assist with demand forecasting, budgeting, freight and shipping decisions and analysis of operations. The position will report to the VP of Supply Chain.

    SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    Create and maintain months of inventory analysis files for locations and product lines and lead inventory order decision meetings, factoring in lead times, changes in demand, vendor cost management, etc.

    Analyze and identify optimal internal inventory transfers in order to reduce excess & obsolete inventory across the companyProvide support to location managers to facilitate greater inventory efficiencyRequirementsPOSITION REQUIREMENTS:
    Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent from a four-year college or universityProficient in Microsoft excel and ability to learn/guide development of automated business intelligence toolsStrong analytically with the ability/willingness to learn how to use internal accounting/ERP tools and analytic databasesProactive attitude, capable of managing multiple deadlines and work with team members across the country


    WORK ENVIRONMENT:


    Work environment is typically considered in an office environment located on-site, within an ELS location during normal or extended business hours.

    Work environment may also include meeting venues, or other locations as required.
