    Wyndemere Senior Living is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist in Wheaton, IL.

    The Receptionist is responsible for answering and transferring all incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner, giving information, direction and other appropriate assistance to residents, staff, guests and vendors and performing a variety of other clerical duties as assigned.

    Shift:

    Full-time 2nd Shift Mon, Tues, Thus, Fri, and every other Sat and Sun from 3pm-11pm

    Responsibilities:
    • Greets, directs and assists residents and guests as needed. Enlist assistance of staff or leadership as appropriate.
    • Answers the telephone in a professional manner; takes accurate and complete messages; directs calls to appropriate staff members.
    • Provides general information to walk-ins; contacts Marketing Representative or tour guides as needed.
    • Provides concierge services to residents, including bus reservations, postal assistance, copying and faxing as requested.
    • Sorts and distributes mail and faxes. Documents receipt and distribution of packages.
    • Documents distribution and return of Maser keys; monitors visitor sign-in and resident sign-out.
    • Opens and closes the reception desk and properly secures all files, keys and equipment in the office area.
    Skills:
    • One year experience in an office setting and dealing with the public.
    • Typing and experience with other business machines.
    • Must be able to handle a multiplicity of routine tasks, follow specific instructions carefully and general instructions completely.
    • Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
