A strong organization focused on ophthalmology care is seeking a Nurse Manager for their recently-acquired ambulatory surgery center in central Suffolk County,Long Island Job Function:
Oversee a staff of approximately 15 people, including scrub techs, central sterile techs and Femto laser technicians and 2-3 other RNs Step in with patient care as needed Responsible for the flow of the operating room including coordination of infection control activities Create weekly staff schedule and monitor daily staff assignments Monitor cost of products, records of purchase orders and product literature Knowledge of decontamination, preparation, wrapping, sterilization process and use of the autoclave Monday-Friday schedule expected to be 7am-4pm This is a full-time permanent position with a competitive compensation package and benefits.
