    Description

    Job Overview

    We are looking for a skilled individual to join our team as an Enterprise Infrastructure Technology Architect. In this role, you will be responsible for designing architecture and establishing technology standards for enterprise network servers, storage systems, backup systems, personal computers, and more. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, with at least six years of experience in implementing and troubleshooting enterprise-level hardware and software solutions.

    • Six or more years of experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Windows Servers, including Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022. Knowledge of Linux is also required.
    • Experience in architecting and implementing Enterprise level Virtual Infrastructure using Hyper-V or VMWare.
    • Experience in designing and implementing Information Technology Systems.
    • Experience in architecting and implementing Cloud systems such as Azure, Azure Active Directory, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Services.
    • Experience in managing complex Information Technology Projects as a Team Lead or Project Manager.

    Starting Salary

    $80,204 - $104,270

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Performing research and development to establish technology standards and solutions for network servers and storage systems.
    • Managing complex technology projects and providing technical support for infrastructure platforms.
    • Acting as a technical liaison for technology projects and mentoring network administrators and engineers.
    • Monitoring and controlling technology projects and providing troubleshooting for infrastructure platforms.
    • Providing guidance and support for technical positions and performing capacity planning for infrastructure systems.
    • Developing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability of the enterprise infrastructure.
    • Managing server builds, system configurations, and system backups for various devices.
    • Overseeing installation, maintenance, and support of hardware and software systems.
    • Providing training and mentoring to peers and subordinates.

    Job Specifications

    • Knowledge of project methodologies and documentation platforms for technical projects.
    • Understanding of infrastructure engineering and design for network servers, storage systems, and more.
    • Knowledge of information security practices and industry standards for network servers and end-user devices.
    • Ability to organize and manage multiple complex projects and troubleshoot technical issues.
    • Effective communication skills and customer service orientation.

    Physical Requirements

    • Tasks involve light physical effort, extended computer use, and work in an office environment.

    Minimum Qualifications Required

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.

    Emergency Management Responsibilities

    In emergency situations, employees may be assigned additional duties by the department or County Administration.
