We are seeking a Full Time Onsite Internal IT Helpdesk / Systems Administrator to join our team
Mid-sized international corporation seeking a motivated and dedicated IT Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to manage the day to day hardware and software issues for our staff.
This is a full time in office position with possibility of some remote support reporting to the IT Director.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software
Resolve issues for clients via phone, in person, or electronically
Recommend hardware and software improvements
Track customer issues and resolutions
Participation in larger scale IT projects and provides assistance to network engineers as needed to improve system architecture
Responsible for the addition, removal, and preservation of accounts of all users on all servers, including password changes and permissions management.
Able to deploy, configure and support operating systems on multiple platforms, desktops, laptops & mobile devices including peripherals and printers.
Some travel is required and must have a valid drivers license.Qualifications:
Previous experience in IT, customer service, or other related fields
Ability to build rapport with clients
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
Positive and professional demeanor
Work experience in an IT environment supporting desktops, laptops, tablets, peripherals and including mobile phones.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory and various technical support concepts, procedures and practices
Good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with other staff to solve problems efficiently
Strong ability to multitask and work under pressure while delivering top performance
Bachelors degree or certifications a plus.
