    Description
    WEEKENDS and 1 to 2 days during the week as needed

    Works in dishwashing area assigned, responsible for careful and sanitary handling of dishes, pans, equipment and food.


    • Responsible for cleanliness of work area, adhering to established cleaning schedule for dishwashing machine and food service
    equipment.


    • Responsible for complete operation of dish washing unit, reporting any needed repairs immediately, controls use of soap,
    temperature of wash and rinse water, discards and reports broken dishes and chipped glassware, scrapes dirty dishes and
    operates disposal.


    • Washes pots and pans according to proper sanitation procedures.
    • Measures and uses cleaning agents/chemicals as directed.
    • Removes, empties and cleans refuse containers.
    • Performs a variety of repetitive tasks such as sweeping and washing floors, keeping refrigerators and storerooms clean and
    neat.


    • Stocks shelves.
    • Assists with busing tables as required.
    • Attends staff meetings and in-services as required.
    • Performs other duties as assigned
