    This established territory is developing rapidly and is full of opportunities. We are looking for an ambitious salesperson willing to work hard to continue building an existing book of business.

    We are built on providing excellent service and premier vehicles to various industries:
    construction, oil & gas, electrical, wind & solar, and telecom. This position requires strong communication skills, product knowledge, and the ability to cultivate/build long-term relationships. The position includes a company truck, laptop, cell phone, and travel allowance.

    This role reports to the Regional Sales Director and would cover PA, NY, NJ, CT, RI, MA, ME, NH and VT.

    This role will travel throughout the territory with a company vehicle provided and has a minimum of 50% travel required.

    RESPONSIBILITIESObtain new customer accounts and expand current customer accounts. Assist our existing customers in expanding their business footprints. Build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for territory growth.
    Responsible for maintaining deep knowledge and understanding of each product line PTR offers. Emphasize the features and benefits of PTR's product offering, add-ons, and customization options.
    Perform product demonstrations while on-site at customer locations.
    Relentlessly pursue business targets through effective sales strategy of the territory. Document sales activities and achievements in the CRM Salesforce. Meticulously track and manage customer data, ensuring streamlined operations and enhanced customer relationships.

    Utilize Microsoft Office suite to develop presentations, respond to customer and internal communications, and track and deliver on sales targets.

    Promote PTR from the boardroom to the job site.
    Be recognized as a resource to our customers for any questions about our products and their opportunities.
    Quickly and effectively establish genuine relationships with people.
    Travel a minimum of 50%. Traveling overnight would be required for achieving success in our business. Represent PTR in both professional and social environments. This includes tradeshows, onsite meetings and customer events.
    REQUIREMENTSMust Have5+ years of territory manager, account manager, regional sales manager, national sales manager, or outside sales experience. Multi-state preferred. Medium-duty truck rental and/or oil, gas, and utility sales experience is a plus.
    Ability to convert prospects into closed sales via advanced sales strategy skillset. Strong sales reporting, technical aptitude, and analysis skills required.
    Strong collaboration skills with the ability to effectively interact with personnel from all aspects of the business unit.
    Ability to take initiative and uniquely motivated to anticipate obstacles and challenges while remaining solutions-focused. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    High energy, fast-paced professional that is honest and operated with high ethical standards.
    Strong PC skills; early adopter of technology a plus.
    Excellent organization, presentation, communication, and follow-through skills.50% Minimum Travel Requirement.
    Nice to HaveBachelor's degree in Business or related field.
    Prior experience using CRMs such as Salesforce and Prospecting Tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or lead management software. Existing relationships and customer base in the existing territory.
    Prior experience with Microsoft PowerBI and Micrsoft Dynamics.
