- Respond to emergency situations promptly, such as equipment failures or malfunctions.
- Take appropriate actions to minimize downtime and ensure the safety of personnel.
- Collaborate with other engineering and maintenance staff to coordinate activities and projects.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, contractors, and other relevant parties.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff or new hires.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Possess Stationary Engineer License, preferably NIULPE.
- 5-7 years' experience in operating and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
