Job Description

This role is responsible for providing general oversight of residents and rooms, checking in and discharging residents, and evaluating and reporting on resident condition to the Program Director and Case Managers. The Desk Clerk will also be assisting case managers in the completion of documentation and tracking resident's progress upon discharge.

Essential Functions:

• Provide professional, compassionate, safe care for all residents. Respond promptly professionally courteously to clients' needs. Provide support to all residents.


• General monitoring of clients ensuring a safe quiet friendly atmosphere is maintained Explain rules procedures to all clients Ensure client adherence program policies procedures Complete intakes needed Enter update HMIS data as needed Follow Alegria TSA policies procedures.


• Complete intake forms records establishing an individual resident file new intakes Complete daily logs gather signatures give end-of-shift reports oncoming shift Program Director Monitor house residents make rounds directed supervisor Document report unusual occurrences incidents injuries Ensure residential areas neat clean hallways free obstructions safety hazards.


• Maintain security inside outside building Respond emergency situations Maintain confidentiality times Assist Case Managers completing documentation tracking residents discharge Answer direct incoming calls appropriate individuals courteous professional manner Monitor medication Assist kitchen duties cleaning common areas daily Ability work irregular schedule hours assigned immediate
