  • Our Specialty Human Services division is looking for an intern to join their underwriting team. The person hired for this position will be fully remote. We are only looking for candidates who reside in the Midwest or Eastern United States.

    Responsibilities:

    Duties will include:

  • Data collection and analysis - The intern will use internal and external resources to aid in decision making.
  • Project work and accountability - The intern will take ownership of and take accountability for completion of projects relating to underwriting, analytics, and risk management topics.
  • Administrative/Data Entry Assignments - The intern will assist regional underwriting teams to prepare, process, and deliver new and renewal insurance proposals.
  • Participation with special projects, as assigned.
  • Qualifications:

    Requirements include:

  • Current enrollment in an accredited college or university with a major in such areas as business administration, finance, economics, communications, etc.
  • An overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Ability to work independently and fully remote.
  • Must be available to work 10-15 hours per week.
  • Basic Microsoft product knowledge is preferred (Excel, Outlook, etc.).

    $17.00 -$26.00
