A Respiratory Therapist (RT) is responsible for assessing, monitoring, and treating patients with various respiratory conditions.
- Spirometry Testing
- Patient Education: Provide clear instructions to patients regarding the preparation for and execution of pulmonary function tests. Educate patients on the proper use of respiratory equipment, including inhalers and nebulizers, and the administration of medications such as albuterol.
- Administer Respiratory Treatments: Deliver albuterol for post pulmonary function examination.
