    Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager

    In this role, see yourself providing solutions to ensure a safe & secure workplace for employees while minimizing our environmental footprint.

    You will have responsibility for the following items:

    • Lead the EHS and Safety committees and other safety, health, and sustainability initiatives.
    • Identify and anticipate environmental, health, and safety concerns and lead implementation of solutions.
    • Influence change through others in order to promote & maintain a safety conscious culture.
    • Provide guidance to site leadership & supervision regarding EHS related issues, while acting as the subject matter expert in these areas.
    • Conduct / coordinate EHS related training of all employees to ensure compliance with legal, system and customer requirements.
    • Maintain appropriate records as required by legal, system and customer requirements.
    • Manage and maintain site EHS statistics, reporting results to leadership.
    • Complete and submit reports to both corporate and legal entities as required as well as conduct required reviews.
    • Work with local, state and federal agencies

    Environmental/Sustainability:

    • Manage, organize and maintain accurate records for use and disposal of all materials/chemicals used within the facilities according to legal requirements and internal procedures.
    • Collaborate with associates in decreasing environmental footprint while enhancing business processes.

    Health & Wellness:

    • Promote Wellness in the workplace, including healthier options and programs for workplace environment.
    • Support coordination of health screenings and blood drives.
    • Ensure optimal security for manufacturing sites.

    Safety:

    • Develop and maintain industrial hygiene programs such as noise surveys, continuous atmosphere monitoring, etc.
    • Manage Workers Compensation program, including coordination medical treatment of injuries through approved providerstimely & confidentially.
    • Lead accident/incident cases as well as corrective/preventative action and reporting.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Environment Heath and Safety or Sciences
    • 5-10 years EHS experience preferably management
