    Our expansion, spanning 165,000 square feet, will introduce a state-of-the-art patient tower to our Round Rock hospital, tailored to accommodate the evolving needs of our rapidly growing population.

    Among its highlights, the tower will house an innovative 11-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, alongside expanded capacities for crucial departments such as med/surg and labor and delivery.

    Additional operating rooms, cath labs, and procedural areas.

    • Implementation of advanced equipment across various departments.
    • Shell space earmarked for future growth, including the expansion of our Emergency Department and operating suites.

They work with other health care staff to deliver patient care effectively. Our Registered Nurses use the nursing process efficiently. They diagnose patient responses to health issues and create care plans accordingly. It includes evaluating healthcare needs and responses.
    Create, implement, and assess care plan to achieve outcomes. Create a caring, safe environment for patients, families, and staff.

    ~ Facilitate learning for all members of the healthcare team, including patients, families, and nursing staff, ensuring everyone is well-informed.

    ~ Collaborate effectively with colleagues and the community to develop and execute an integrated plan of care.

    ~ Use problem-solving strategies and utilize available resources to support patients, family and staff as part of a systems thinking approach.

    Familiarity with nursing and patient care standards and procedures.

    ~ Awareness of legal requirements and standards of certification and accreditation bodies, including the specifics of the hospital and respective department/unit.

    ~ Good command of medical terminology, with a focus on healthcare promotion, risk reduction, and disease prevention.

    ~ Capability to identify and report changes in patient conditions, develop, and modify patient care plans as required.

    ~ Basic computer skills necessary for day-to-day assignments.
