Description

Insight Global is seeking a Secret cleared Microsoft Systems Engineer to support a smaller federal client of ours onsite in Charleston, SC.

The main task at update multiple government networking systems through system engineering and software development.

The day-to-day will include:

Provide knowledge in systems engineering and information technology
Develop solutions to solve problems and implement enhancements
Investigate and resolve issues that span multiple applications/technologies and require involvement from technical personnel across multiple groups
Develop and/or revise system designs and architectures to improve efficiency, stability, effectiveness, supportability, and sustainability
Install test branches on physical hardware on lab equipment as first level integration tests

Experience with virtualization

Active Secret Clearance or higher
Security+ certification
Strong foundation in systems engineering
Proven experience with Windowsbased server products
Experience with automation, specifically PowerShell scripting
