    Description


    The Program Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with referral sources and the treatment team, and for the oversight and management of referrals and admissions, treatment/services to clients, foster family development, hiring, and personnel management.

    The Program Manager ensures compliance with all statutory, licensing, and accreditation requirements, mitigates risk, and serves in the on-call rotation.


    Indiana State - Graduation from an accredited four year college, plus one year of graduate training in a recognized school of social work including supervised case work in the field, plus two years of supervised paid casework experience, at least one year of which should have been in an approved child placing agency; except that a second year of graduate training or a Master's Degree from a recognized school of social work including supervised case work in the field, may be substituted for one year of the required two years of supervised paid case work experience, but there should be no substitution for the required one year of supervised paid case work experience in an approved child placing agency.

    Bachelor's Degree in Human Services related field with experience in a supervisory capacity in social services, human services, or mental health services required.

    Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, or other related field preferred.

    Experience with acute emotionally challenged children or adolescents preferred.

    Must possess the ability to be trained, and pass, First Aid and CPR certifications; Valid Driver's License Required.

    Must possess basic personal computer knowledge and skills.

    Must be 21 years of age.
