    Our IT Enterprise Applications is currently seeking a passionate Sr.

    Application Developer in Palo Alto office of California for Workday Extend and Integrations to empower overseas business growth and enhance employee experience.

    Primary Duties & Responsibilities

    :


    Comprehend data integrations from point-to-point systems as well as holistic interchange services rendering effective data quality and dependable exchanges of digital information.

    Conduct working sessions with business users to gather, understand and analyze business requirements. Work with business users independently and effectively communicate details with them.

    Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for integrating the Workday cloud application with external applications across HR, Finance, and other areas where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

    Design, build, and support testing of Workday integration code base including Studio, EIB and supporting 3rd party coding.
    Responsible for timely identification and escalation of risks and development of alternative technical and functional approaches when necessary
    Good understanding on the Security Configuration and Business Process setup in the tenant
    Act as the liaison between the assigned internal/external business groups(s) (HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, Software vendors, etc.)
    Create and maintain documentation for new and existing integrations.
    Perform full system regression testing for Workday updates to ensure security access and integrations are functioning as expected.
    Ability to understand business needs, troubleshoot issues, diagnose root cause and provide potential solutions to problems.

    Pursuing the Workday Extend technology changes, knowledge sharing areas and incoming tool improvements to optimize apps efficient functionality and meet all existing model, application and webservice limitations.

    Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree computer science, with 5+ years of application development experience
    Experience building and deploying Workday Extend Apps Implementations, Supporting Workday Apps Postproduction.
    Ability to develop Workday Extend Code by using extend plugins or developers site App Builder.
    Good skills in designing and building model component element (Application Business Objects, Application Business Processes, Application Security Domains, etc)
    Good knowledge of Workday Security area (data security policy and business process security policy)
    Knowledge of Workday Extend Graph API
    Experience with EDI, XML, XSLT, Web services, SOAP, REST, JSON, Javascript or other integration technologies.
    Knowledge of Workday integration tools including, workday studio, EIB'S, Report writer (BIRT), Core Connectors and PECI integration.

    Good understanding of the Workday modules (HCM, Recruiting, Absence, Learning, Performance Management, etc.) and hands-on experience is a plus not a must.

    Good understanding of agile methodologies, process and change management tools and techniques.

    Ability to be effectively and actively engaged on multiple, parallel projects of all sizes in both leading and supporting roles.

    Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills required to interact with colleagues and internal customers.
    Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams who are in global locations and varying time zones.
    Understand Service Now integration is a big plus.
    The base pay range for this position in the state(s) above is $105,000 to $211,200 per year. Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

    A sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as other medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the specific position offered.
