The Vehicle Inventory Control Analyst interacts with internal and external customers; providing support data pertinent information to ensure production runs efficiently.+
Responsibilities
- Pulling comparing records from Company software third party software using Microsoft Excel Word VELES SAP ACES PDA etc.
- Verifying updating as needed sending receiving data via verbal communication email transmission answering phones replying email in timely fashion engage face-to-face meetings with customers provision one-to-one service assist Carriers locate units Work Order Completion/Print/Reprint Monroney Print/Reprint Sort proactively investigating issues responding accordingly Day-to-day operation programs equipment including scanners setting troubleshooting PDA Scanners Wi-Fi Hotspot creating printing distribution necessary/requested reports VIN lists configurations Allocation Decommit Report VINS ready production Allocated Not Tendered Aging VINS Tendered Not Shipped Processed VINS shipped Additional reports created based production needs/inquiry Allocation Decommit Report VINS ready production Offsite Truck Shuttling VINS located main property Availability Reports VINS available process Ramp Operation Navy Yard Retrieve railcar numbers corresponding A-end B-end seals Enter railcar numbers TADS system railcar location track pad Assign location all VIN's each rail car print bay tickets Investigate problematic damages relocation VIN's assigned location sickbay area Southport VPC Park VIN's carrier availability clear track sheet TADS Submit minimum 10 reports daily Glovis HQ NS Corp Perform physical inventory system reconciliation TADS weekly monthly Other duties assigned Skills Proficient PC skills Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook database management systems Required Ability read comprehend interpret documents operating maintenance instructions procedure manuals Required Ability write routine reports correspondence Required Ability communicate effectively groups customers employees organization Education Experience High School Diploma/GED Required Associates Degree Required Years OR Equivalent Combination Education Experience Customer Service Analytical Skills Required Years OR Equivalent Combination Education Experience Customer Service Analytical Skills Preferred Physical Requirements Ability use computer copy/fax machine PDA Scanners Lift up lbs Carry up lbs Push pull Bend stoop Kneel Squat crouch Stand Reasonable accommodations made individuals disabilities perform essential functions job.
