Job Title:
Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and analyzing complex electrical systems across various domains, including renewable energy generation, energy storage, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, transportation, aviation, and industrial projects

Your responsibilities will include:

System Design and Analysis :
Lead the design and analysis of intricate electrical systems, ensuring their reliability, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

Documentation and Reporting :
Develop design documents, including electrical layouts, equipment schematics, block diagrams, electrical system calculations, and one-line diagrams.

Collaboration :
Interact daily with multi-disciplinary teams, fostering collaboration across different offices within our organization.

Project Specifications and Proposals :
Prepare project specifications, electrical construction cost estimates, and proposals to support the growth of our electrical engineering services.

Mentoring and Team Growth :
Assist in mentoring and training junior staff, contributing to the expansion of our electrical engineering practice.

Qualifications:

Experience :
Minimum of 4 years in an Electrical Engineering role.

Licensure :
Professional Engineering (P.E.) License.

Education :
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Code Knowledge :
Understanding of the National Electrical Code, National Electrical Safety Code, IEEE, and ANSI Standards.

Flexibility :
Willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings as needed.

Teamwork :
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, including mentoring junior staff.

Preferred Skills:
Experience in utility-scale PV, wind generation, energy storage, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, microgrid, substation, or data center designs.
Engineering project management experience.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Power system analysis using SKM, ETAP, or equivalent software.
Transient studies using PSCAD, EMTP-RV, or equivalent.
Lighting designs and photometrics using AGI32 or equivalent.
Comfortable programming in Python or MATLAB.
