- On our client's behalf we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medicinal Chemist to join a renowned drug discovery team.
- As a key member of their research group, you will play a vital role in designing and synthesizing small molecule compounds for hit identification, lead optimization, and drug development projects.
- You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, apply your expertise in medicinal chemistry, and contribute to the advancement of the company's therapeutic programs.
- Your responsibilities will include the synthesis of novel small molecule compounds, planning and executing the purification and characterisation of target compounds and analysing and interpreting structure-activity relationships to guide compound optimisation.
- To be considered for this role you will need to have industry experience with a drug discovery team, utilising your medicinal chemistry PhD. You will need to have knowledge of modern synthetic organic chemistry techniques and purification methods and ideally a good understanding of ADME
