    Administrative Clerk:
    School Bookkeeper

    Reports to:
    Principal and Assistant Principal


    FLSA:
    Non-exempt

    Summary of the position:

    To assure the smooth and efficient operation of the school office so that the office's maximum positive impact on the education of children can be realized.


    Qualifications:
    Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. High School diploma. Ability to prepare written reports and correspondence. Skills in human relations. Ability to plan and organize, good work habits. Ability to type accurately at a minimum speed of 50 words per minute.

    Employee should also be able to use the machines, tools, equipment, and work aids which may be representative, but not all inclusive, of that commonly associated that commonly associated type of work, i.e., calculator, forms, ledgers, schedules and computers.

    Able to be bonded. Other qualifications as deemed desirable by the School Board.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    Completes reports in timely manner.

    Collects, counts, and deposits all money.

    Prepares purchase orders as assigned by the building administrator.

    Investments.

    Prepares bid lists, receives and distributes.

    Processes bid lists, receives and distributes.

    Order supplies.

    Maintain appropriate records and files as appropriate.

    Pays all necessary claims.

    Handles PreK funding for the District.

    Other duties as assigned by the building administrator.
