    Administrative Program Coordinator

    Summary
    The Administrative Program Coordinator provides academic, programmatic, and administrative support for the Political Science department and PS-International Development Program. Maintains faculty, course, and student information and supports classroom logistics and program-related activities and events.

    Acts as liaison with the Registrar's office, SLA Director of Graduate Admissions, Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies and Office of International Students and Scholars.

    The administrative program coordinator works under the supervision of the operations manager, assists in supervision of the administrative secretary, manages key inventory, and provides administrative support as needed.

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


    • Ability to use Microsoft Office suite, Zoom, Adobe, Courseleaf, Canvas, Banner and Slate
    • Ability to learn and use the course and catalogue submission software used by the Registrar's Office
    • Ability to manipulate the electronic forms used by Newcomb-Tulane College and other Tulane units
    • Ability to manage record-keeping systems for graduate and undergraduate majors and minors
    • Ability to explain department policies and procedures to graduate and undergraduate students.
    • Ability to proactively identify and complete tasks with minimal direction.
    Required Education and/or Experience


    • High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years of related experience
    Preferred Qualifications


    • Experience with Tulane undergraduate academic advising
    • Experience with the Tulane Registrar's scheduling software
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Experience in higher education
    Compensation Information
