    Position will be based in the Rockville office. The position requires communication, interaction with, and planning for meetings with employees in different departments.

    This position is a full-time, in-office position, standard working hours, with a potential for hybrid schedule applicable with company policy after six months of employment.

    The senior marketing manager is responsible for the creation and execution of strategic marketing plans for the proteomics business that enhance customer value and engagement, increase market competitiveness, and driving product line revenue growth.

    Strategic Marketing Plan development and execution

    • Analyze and interpret market trends and competitive information
    • Identify target markets and customers to drive growth
    • Develop clear strategies with tactical plans for achieving business objectives
    Integrated Campaign design, content creation, and implementation

    • Develop clear and compelling value propositions and messaging customized for different target audiences; craft compelling stories that resonate with scientists and researchers through various channels (digital and traditional, i.e., digital ads, tradeshows, etc.)
    • Develop and leverage product/technical content to support marketing messaging and campaigns
    • Create thoughtful, customer-facing content, including copy, video, and more for multiple channels, ranging from social and digital to traditional collateral and events
    Digital Marketing strategies and software and MarTech tools

    • Implement digital marketing strategies to drive engagement and lead generations (email, social media, webinars, videos, etc.)
    • Monitor and optimize campaign effectiveness to generate maximum reach and impact
    • Experience with HubSpot, SEO, Google analytics, Salesforce, Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) NetSuite or similar marketing tools
    Project management

    • Develop editorial and advertising calendars that support the proteomics business goals and marketing KPIs
    • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects and effectively follow up on timelines to ensure timely implementation of marketing activities within campaigns
    • Design and implement successful product launches
    Analysis and reporting

    • Utilize data-driven insights to measure the success of marketing efforts, identify areas for improvement, and make data-backed decisions to enhance marketing strategies
    • Consistently reporting of marketing plans, activities, and results
    Communications

    • Collaborate effectively with internal teams (i.e., R&D, sales, technical services) and provide support to sales, distributors, technical services through product positioning and training
    • Collaborate with marketing team members
    • Manage proteomic business projects efficiently and effectively, through effective communication team membersRequirements
    :


    • Extensive experience in Proteomics is a must
    • PhD or Master's degree preferred; background specifically in proteomics (protein purification and antibody development)
    • Good understanding of techniques used in protein development, screening & testing; protein purification, and analysis (western blot, ELISA, IHC, ICC, IF, Flow, IP, affinity purification, ion-exchange chromatography, FPLC, SDS-PAGE) and its applications; Lab experience in these areas is preferred
    • Five years or more of marketing experience life sciences research market
    • Knowledgeable about one of these markets
    :

    Oncology, Infectious diseases, Neuroscience

    • Lab experience and hands-on experience with HubSpot CRM, NetSuite reporting a plus
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, while managing competing tasks, deadlines, requirements, and decision
    • Must work independently and complete duties and projects with minimum supervision
    • Ability to travel for tradeshow and customer meetings; annual travel of 3-5 trips (< 5 days) is required
