Description
embecta is one of the largest pure-play diabetes care companies in the world, leveraging its nearly 100-year legacy in insulin delivery to empower people with diabetes to live their best life through innovative solutions, partnerships and the passion of approximately 2,000 employees around the globe.
The position will be responsible for executing the embecta strategy to drive increased sales of the embecta safety portfolio in the acute care setting.
The Regional Account Manager will plan and execute sales activities targeted at key decision makers in the acute care channel.
They will need to be a highly competent sales performer with the ability to work collaboratively within target accounts to drive embecta sales goals across safety pen needles and safety syringes.
The Regional Account Manager will require collaboration internally and with external stakeholders to support embecta efforts across their acute care accounts.
They will be responsible for identifying opportunities across IDN's and ensure the prioritization of the embecta strategy execution and sales growth in their region.
This is a field-based role covering IDNs in States around the Great Lakes area: MN, WI, IL, IN, MI, OH, ND, SD, IA, MO, WV, and KY.
Ideal candidate will live in any of these States.RESPONSIBILITIES:
Achieve Account and Territory sales targets/quotasMaintain existing business while focusing on growth opportunitiesEffectively develops account level strategies and plan to drive successful conversion to embecta products among targeted accountsDemonstrates leadership and execution in negotiations with accounts to attain business goalsLeverages internal and external relationships to identify customer leadsManages the conversion process of new businessRegularly forecast territory/ account performance over 12 month window, and be accountable for forecast accuracy in salesforce.
BA/BS in business or related disciplineDocumented IDN account management experience on the assigned region.
Relationships with clinical and financial stakeholders within large IDNs across the assigned region5+ years sales success in the medical device industryAdvanced knowledge of healthcare/ hospital buying and contracting process for both clinical and economic productsUnderstanding of U.S.
healthcare landscape, including role of payers, GPO's, distributorsPreferred Requirements:Diabetes experience preferredStrategic thinking and analysis of business opportunitiesRelationship development across varied stakeholders, from senior business leaders to clinical expertsAbility to drive solution-oriented selling with both clinical and economic stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to develop account level plans and effectively influence account key stakeholdersProven ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners, and find mutually beneficial ways to accelerate businessDemonstrated ability to understand changing healthcare landscapeExcellent planning, organizing, and project management skillsExcellent communication and influencing skills- verbal, written, and presentationExcellence in ambiguity, adapting to change and new opportunitiesembecta is an Equal Opportunity/AffirmativeAction Employer.
