As the Junior Tradesperson - Service, you'll assist our teams in the production, prepping, and packaging of different exhibits for shipment. The Junior Tradesperson - Service also handles organizing all the inbound materials coming from show sites. This role comes with a unique challenge and set of responsibilities. Junior Tradesperson - Service Responsibilities
- Assist with all service-related work, including cleaning properties, performing minor service / touch-up as needed
- Perform pull and prep services as directed
- Package all parts, hardware and graphics for shipment
- Inbound all materials upon return from show
- Review SODs and setup drawings to ensure all components are accounted for
- Demonstrate strong knowledge in the use & set-up of power machinery and hand tools
- Safely operate a forklift
- Conduct self in a businesslike manner at all times, using good judgement when interacting with clients
- Process all necessary paperwork
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned
Requirements
Junior Tradesperson - Service Requirements and Qualifications
- High School diploma; or one to three months related experience
- Ability to work independently and complete project within budget hours with minimal direction
- Highly organized, flexible and ability to work the necessary hours in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Salary and Benefits Information
- Hourly Rate: $27.97 per hour. This rate was established through the affiliated Union and is non-negotiable.
- Position Status: Hourly Union. This position is eligible for overtime earnings.
