The Director of Montefiore Einstein Comprehensive Cancer Center (MECCC) will serve as the executive leader responsible for advancing the Center's mission and vision.
Responsibilities
- The Director is responsible for all administrative functions related to the CCSG submission.
- The Director oversees exceptional performance of all CCSG-supported components including six essential characteristics four translational research programs eight shared resources strategic planning evaluation governance overall impact to reduce cancer burden in Bronx
- Critical success requires sustained growth in research portfolio acceleration of translational research through investment basic science innovative clinical trials novel therapeutics across Montefiore Health System
- The Director leads efforts aligning cancer priorities scientific excellence across Montefiore Einstein leveraging expertise departments centers institutes serving governing committees leading cancer-relevant initiatives faculty recruitment space informatics shared resources/core facilities clinical care delivery clinical research expansion philanthropy nascent clinical trials network
- The Director develops steering committee partnering Associate Director Clinical Services overseeing expansion integration MECCC mission steering committee engaging leaders advance impact service line cross-Montefiore Health System
