**Title:** Network/Server Administrator
**Reports to:** IT Manager or IT Admin
**Department:** HR/IT
**FLSA:** Salary Exempt
**Work Schedule:** Full-Time
**Summary of Position:**
The position is responsible for following:
Designing, configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, securing and maintaining network equipment and servers. This includes local area networks, wireless LANs, switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, web filters and windows servers.
Maintain the server and always manage it in the best condition.
**Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to)**
Corporate:

Performs special assignments as required by management.
Technical: (applied HTGS)
Planning network infrastructure for new applications and services
Training network staff to provide support to end users
Maintain both internal and external company networks.
Assist in implementing firewalls and security devices to ensure network security.
Coordinate with Manager to set user access, permissions and roles to prevent unauthorized access
Responsible for operation of sever, network, and peripheral information system equipment and for developing schedules for equipment usage
Leads a team of support personnel who troubleshoot IT issues
Helps director lead and manage day to day operations and documents
Support end-users with IT-related problems in a responsive and service oriented manner.
Setup, management, and maintenance of IT-related equipment.
Monitor backup jobs and ensure high level of completion success rate.
For security, you need to monitor your network and look for bad traffic.
Training staff with IT related equipment Develop and monitor performance levels of software and hardware and evaluate, recommend, and propose alternative methods of information processing.
Manage and operate the security system and monitor users who violate it.
Inspect the backup system daily and manage the backup data.
Develop and maintain information architectures (data, application, network) ensuring the system is on-line daily.
Leadership:
Assist in any special project assigned to all Departments.

Ability to multi-task and can handle frequent interruptions
**Qualifications:**
2-4 years in IT or Business Systems
Management Information Systems or related degree
**Education:**
Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
**Certifications:**
CCNA
CCNP
**Technical/ Computer Skills:**
CISCO CCNA
ComTIA Server+
Veeam
Palo Alto Networks
Windows O/S
**Soft Skills Required:**
