    Job DescriptionDescription:

    Project Coordinator is a position within the Summerville Office team to perform and assist with related project management and administrative tasks. Incumbents are expected to perform a variety of tasks to support engineering staff in accordance with company best practices, processes, and programs. This position reports to the Vice President and is expected to work with multiple peers to support project deliverables. This is NOT a remote position.

    Requirements:

    Position requirements include:

    • Assist in creation of scope of work documentation, including financials, based on previous relevant projects.
    • Entering financial specifics into project accounting database.
    • Understand general project flow as it relates to deliverable tracking and scheduling concepts.
    • Maintain internal project deliverable tracker with updated dates from project schedules.
    • Willingness to learn and understand details and dependencies of all tasks relevant to scheduling.
    • Assist project managers with maintenance of project schedules.
    • Generate bid tabs, conduct bid openings with vendors, and generate/track purchase orders.
    • Maintain historical database of equipment pricing and construction costs.
    • Miscellaneous Administrative Assistance:
    • Prepare bid documentation including technical specifications, formalized proposals, presentations, and brochures
    • Interact with client/vendors as required to coordinate document delivery and seminar set up
    • Coordinate travel arrangements
    • Thorough organizing and filing of digital documentation.
    • Must be proficient in business writing and have an excellent command of the English language.
    • Strong attention to detail, with superior administrative, analytical and interpersonal skills.
    • Perform basic functions of Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint and Outlook.
    • Proficiency in PDF editing software.
    • Must interface well with employees and customers at all levels.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    A minimum of a high school diploma is required. 2-4 years administrative experience is required, engineering firm experience preferred. A degree from a university or technical college with experience in Business Administration is preferred.
