    Accentuate Staffing is immediately seeking a Purchasing Manager in Raleigh.

    This role offers the opportunity to lead the purchasing efforts for a reputable home builder, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.

    The Purchasing Manager plays a critical role in project success by managing budgets, controlling costs, and maintaining strong supplier relationships.

    This is a direct hire opportunity.


    Responsibilities:
    Solicit bids from subcontractors and suppliers for various construction projects.
    Analyze bids, negotiate terms, and select the best options for the company.
    Review, negotiate and finalize contracts with subcontractors and vendors.
    Implement cost control measures to optimize purchasing procedures and reduce expenses.
    Recruit, evaluate, and maintain relationships with quality and reliable suppliers.
    Oversee inventory levels of materials and supplies, ensuring adequate stock for projects.

    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
    Proven procurement experience in the home building or construction industry.
    Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract negotiations
    Experience in vendor management and supplier selection.
    Ability to work within budgets and control costs effectively.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction/purchasing software- MarkSystems a plus.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
