Hiring multiple Nurses for multiple contracts

Hiring for a corrections facility.

Must have one year medical/surgical experience, BLS certified and have a current NYS license

Hours,shifts, days off will vary based on facility needs -

Primary shift needs include: 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am

ER experience a plus

Job duties -

• Diagnose and treat a patient's health problems.
  
• Perform health assessments to identify new symptoms of possible undiagnosed conditions or complications.
  
• Administer medication.
  
• Attend to sick call, emergency sick call, inmate and employee accidents.
  
• Manage and deliver restorative or palliative care to the ill, disabled or dying.
  
• Teach and counsel patients about maintenance of health and prevention of illness or complications.
  
• Contribute as a member of an interdisciplinary health care team and as a consultant on health-related committees to plan and implement the health care needs of consumers.
  
• Execute medical regimens as prescribed by licensed physicians, dentists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and podiatrists.
