    In light of their ongoing expansion and client successes, our client seeks a strategic-minded leader to join their CFO Advisory Services group as an Assistant Controller


    Key Responsibilities:


    Serve as the primary liaison with external clients, including CEOs, COOs, entrepreneurial business owners, as well as leaders from VC and PE firms.

    Lead and oversee a team of accounting professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality work on a daily basis.

    Prepare, review, and discuss client financials on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis with client leadership.

    Act as the initial point of contact for onboarding new clients.

    Act as external CFO leadership for clients dealing with buy-sell transactions, securing external financing, bank relationships, etc.

    Assist in the annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting process, as well as conduct monthly and quarterly reviews for clients.

    Interface with external entities on behalf of clients, such as governmental agencies, banks, legal entities, and other stakeholders.

    Collaborate with the tax team to optimize tax strategies and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

    Requirements:


    6+ years of overall accounting experience, with at least four years in a Big 4 or similar public accounting or advisory services firm.

    2+ years in a management/leadership role.

    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

    Prior experience within a Healthcare environment or working with Healthcare clients

    CPA certification is a plus but not a requirement

    Exceptional analytical skills with a knack for solving complex problems.

    Outstanding interpersonal skills, capable of managing client priorities while providing personalized attention.
