    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years nursing experience required.

    An elementary schoolin the Calabasas, California area is looking to finda full-time, contracted Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join their school healthcare team.As an LVN in a school setting, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of our students We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable candidate to join our Special Education team and support an elementary student 1:1.


    Requirements:

    • Associate's Degree in Nursing
    • Must have LVN CaliforniaLicense/Certification
    • Must be CPR and BLS certified
    • Must be fortable with G tubes and trach suctioning


    Position Details:

    • Full time / 37.5 hours per week
    • ASAP Start - June 12, 2024
    • Pay Rate: $25 - $35 per hour, depending on previous experience
    • Caseload: 1:1 with an elementary student, specific details will be shared during the interview process

    General Responsibilities:

    • Provide health services to students, including assessment, first aid, and administering medications as prescribed by healthcare providers.
    • Respond to medical emergencies and injuries that occur on school premises, providing immediate care and coordinating with emergency services when necessary.
    • Stay current with school health policies, state regulations, and best practices in school nursing.
