Our Private Client Group is expanding, and we are seeking a dedicated Financial Paraplanner / Client Support Specialist to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring that our members receive exceptional financial planning and investment support.

    As a Financial Paraplanner / Client Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the client service operations of our Private Client Group. You will assist Financial Advisors in preparing for client meetings, develop and maintain financial plans, and support the overall marketing and operational strategies of the team.


    What you will be doing:

    • Client Meeting Preparation: Assist in preparing detailed financial plans, client reports, and other essential materials as directed by Financial Advisors.
    • Investment Analysis: Develop expertise in investment analysis technology tools, review and analyze provided information, and train team members on best practices.
    • Marketing and Event Coordination: Support and coordinate marketing strategies, including the creation of marketing materials, managing social media posts, and organizing client events and seminars.
    • Client Service Management: Prepare confidential business forms, administer client account billing, maintain client records, and handle inbound calls and appointment scheduling.
    • Stakeholder Interaction: Liaise with product vendors, asset custodians, and internal teams at FORUM Credit Union to address client needs and service-related inquiries.

    What We're Looking For:

    • A two year college degree or equivalent educational experience in business, finance, or a related field.
    • One to three years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a financial services environment.
    • Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintaining high service orientation.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills with a proficiency in building relationships.
    • Proven ability to communicate effectively across various platforms.
    • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
