    Welcome to our Senior Corporate Accountant job position at our company!

    The Senior Corporate Accountant plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting by leveraging technology to streamline accounting processes. This position requires a mix of technical skills and problem-solving abilities to enhance financial efficiency.


    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Demonstrates highest standards of personal and professional integrity
    • Manages all accounting transactions for two entities in Yardi
    • Assists in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and variance reporting
    • Creates monthly financial statements
    • Handles monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
    • Assists with cash management, including forecasting
    • Reconciles accounts payable and receivable
    • Ensures timely payments related to borrowing activities
    • Manages balance sheets and profit/loss statements
    • Identifies process improvements to increase the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports
    • Analyzes data to support business decision-making
    • Assists in developing documented accounting procedures
    • Distributes timely financial statements to various internal parties
    • Identifies cost-saving opportunities
    • Manages recording bi-weekly payroll and allocations
    • Other duties as assigned

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

    This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.


    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Accounting
    • Experience: Minimum 4 years of professional accounting experience
    • Certifications/Licenses: CPA preferred
    • Skills: Intermediate experience with Yardi and real estate accounting platforms, advanced Excel skills, ability to identify process improvements, strong technical skills, written and oral communication, organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
