- Research and interpret billing and coding regulations
- Review charge capture tools for accuracy
- Prepare analysis for management
- Provide education and training
- Troubleshoot complex account errors
- Resolve and answers questions related to charge capture and complex regulatory billing issues.
- Act as a liaison to identify and resolve charge related issues and special projects
- Mentors and supports members of Revenue Integrity Team
- Process and systems improvements
- Continuing education on practices, industry, and regulatory changes
- Supports the finance, operations and revenue cycle teams through special projects.
- Coordinate special focus reviews and follow-up with Internal Audit
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Health Administration, Finance or Accounting or related field
- 3+ years of revenue cycle experience
- Beginner to Moderate knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Healthcare experience required
- Strong communication skills
