    Description

    Position Summary

    The SAP Business Analyst is a member of the SAP ERP Team performing business requirements, analysis, design, development, configuration, testing and user adoptions related activities within the Materials management space. The ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines is also essential. This position requires a combination of technical, analytical, and communication skills to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of business systems.
    Essential Functions and Duties
    • Gather and analyze business requirements to develop technical solutions that meet customer needs.
    • Develop and document detailed technical specifications to support system development, implementation, and maintenance. Create business user facing documentation.
    • Assist in the development of test plans and scenarios to ensure that software meets customer needs.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance and functionality.
    • Work with stakeholders to define and improve processes to ensure better system performance. Provide user training and support as needed.
    • Involved in all the phases of a System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure that business objectives were met.
    • Monitor system performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
    • Monitor industry trends and best practices to ensure solutions are up to date and relevant.
    • Responsible for a variety of duties including supporting users, diagnosing and resolving system problems, making configuration changes, testing patches and upgrades, and modifying and creating production reports.
    • Adheres specifically to all company policies and procedures, Federal and State regulations and laws.

    • Comply with the policies and procedures stated in the Injury and Illness Prevention Program by always working in a safe manner and immediately reporting any injury, safety hazard, or program violation.
    • Ensure conduct is consistent with all Compliance Program Policies and procedures when engaging in any activity on behalf of the company. Immediately report any concerns or violations.

    Qualifications

    Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience
    Required Education:
    • Bachelor's Degree in business, CS, IS, MIS or a related field of study.
    Required Knowledge:
    • Knowledge and experience in programming languages such as C++, Java, Python, HTML/CSS, C#.
    • Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel, including knowledge to create and maintain dashboards.
    • Present and explain complex concepts or calculations to management.
    • Self-starter who is motivated to learn new skills and tools.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
    • Extremely organized with strong time-management skills and ability and willingness to meet deadlines.
    • Build and maintain strong, collaborative, and professional relationships with others.
    Required Experience:
    • Must have gained knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Java, Python, HTML/CSS, C# through projects, internships or other related experience.
    • Exposure and/or Experience documenting system requirements, creating test scripts and testing.
    Preferred Experience:
    • Knowledge and understanding of SAP business system.

    Physical requirements

    Vision, hearing, speech, movements requiring the use of wrists, hands and/or fingers. Must have the ability to view a computer screen for long periods and the ability to sit for extended periods. Must have the ability to work the hours and days required to complete the essential functions of the position, as scheduled. The employee occasionally lifts up to 20 lbs. and occasionally kneels and bends. Must have the ability to travel occasionally. Working condition include normal office setting.

Must be able to pay close attention to detail and be able to work as a member of a team to ensure excellent customer service.Must have the ability to interact effectively with co-workers and customers, and exercise self-control and diplomacy in customer and employee relations' situations. Must have the ability to exercise discretion as well as appropriate judgments when necessary. Must be proactive in finding solutions.
