    Description

    • Installing, Configuring, and

    Maintaining Microsoft Exchange:
    o Install and configure Microsoft Exchange servers.

    o Create, configure, and maintain Exchange databases, mailboxes, address lists, distribution groups, and message routing.

    o Apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) settings, patches, and conduct preventative maintenance.

    High Availability and Disaster Recovery:
    o Support all aspects of the High Availability and Disaster Recovery process for Exchange, including Database Availability Groups (DAG).

    o Ensure robust backup and recovery mechanisms for Exchange data.


    Active Directory Integration:
    o Support the Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure, including Windows servers, DHCP, and DNS.

    o Collaborate with AD administrators to ensure seamless integration.


    Group Policy Management:
    o Create, test, and coordinate the implementation of Group Policy objects.

    o Troubleshoot Group Policy at all levels (local, OU, site, etc.).


    Top-Tier Support and Monitoring:
    o Provide top-tier support for administering, monitoring, and troubleshooting Exchange and Windows Active Directory.

    o Monitor Windows OS servers and Microsoft systems.

    o Respond to server monitoring system alerts promptly.


    Automation and Documentation:
    o Write and maintain scripts to automate system tasks and troubleshoot issues.

    o Create and maintain documentation related to systems design, configuration, testing, and evaluation.


    Security and Vulnerability Mitigation:
    o Participate in identifying vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.

    o Stay informed about new technologies and evaluate their relevance to the environment.

    Project Planning and Disaster Recovery:
    o Contribute to written project plans, task schedules, test and evaluation plans, and system design documents.

    o Participate in the development, testing, and implementation of disaster recovery procedures for critical systems.

    Required Skills & Experience
    -7+ years of advanced Exchange Administration experience

    • Experience with mail hygiene services, Client Access Server (CAS) Arrays, and email encryption.
    • Experience with Exchange migrations and decommissioning legacy Exchange.
    • Experience in Exchange automation via Powershell scripting.

    Experience with Exchange monitoring tools (ex:
    SCOM, Exchange Performance Wizard).

    • Experience installing, configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting Microsoft Lync Server Experience configuring, troubleshooting and maintaining, Audio and Video Conference with Lync.
    • Experience in Lync automation via Powershell scripting.
    • Experience with Exchange monitoring tools (ex: SCOM, Lync Monitoring).
    • Experience with AD monitoring tools (ex: SCOM).
    • Active Top Secret Clearance
