    Job Title: Director of Nursing
    Lead Clinical and Administrative Team
    Location: Yorktown Heights, New York
    Overview:
    The Director of Nursing is responsible for overseeing the delivery of comprehensive nursing care in our facility. They will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for Perioperative Services (OR, Preop, and PACU) and oversee quality improvement, risk management, infection control, and education initiatives. As a Registered Nurse, the Director of Nursing will work closely with patients to assess, plan, implement, and coordinate care from admission to discharge.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide leadership and oversight to ensure patient needs are met according to physician instructions and facility policies & procedures.
    • Demonstrate respect and develop positive working relationships within departments.
    • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, procedure schedulers, vendors, and the public – in person, on the telephone, or by other means.
    • Analyze and correlate clinical data with patient medical and nursing care.
    • Provide clear direction to others, promoting efficiency throughout clinical areas.
    • Recognize legal policy limits and individual practice boundaries.
    Requirements:
    • Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
    • Current RN licensure.
    • 2 years of nursing management experience preferred.
    • Five (5) years of clinical experience in a hospital or ambulatory surgery center.
    • Successful completion of BLS Course within 90 days of employment or current certification.
    • Successful completion of ACLS Course within 90 days of employment or current certification.
    Compensation: $130,000 - $150,000 with bonus potential.
