As a wing systems Sr. Manager you will be responsible for all direct/indirect labor to include lower level managers supervisors, union employees. What You Will Be Doing


    • Manage an indirect budget of ~$2M annually with a ~$800M hour BLKBUY direct budget.
    • Responsible for all aspects of the business to include Safety, Quality, Schedule and Cost.
    • Work closely with functional support organizations to archive company and area Break through objectives.
    • Develop TTI to achieve year end goals that align with Aero 100 and AIP initiatives.
    • Set the direction and execution of Continuous improvement for two separate Command Centers.
    • Will ensure accurate and timely manner of all training requirements for 300+ employees.
    • Lead Daily manufacturing activities utilizing manufacturing plans, work flows, and crew loading.
    • Responsible for area 6S, production compliance surveillance (PCS), production build surveillance (PBS) scores and daily compliance to ISO9001, Aero Codes, B/P, Aircraft specifications, material specification and other governmental compliance regulations. What's In It For You

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Management &/or supervisory experience within an Aircraft maintenance, manufacturing, &/or Production operations environment.
    • Experience in technical &/or strategic leadership.
    • Experience managing within a Union Environment with larger scale operations and employee groups.

    Desired Skills:

    • 8+ years of management and supervisory experience with 5+ years in Aircraft Production\manufacturing Operations, related disciplines or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience will be considered.
    • Strong knowledge of Six Sigma, Black Belt or other Continues improvement background
    • Understands SVMS, financial impacts of decisions and actions of the team
    • Problem Solving skills with experience driving cross functional team for RCCA and CI
    • Ability to Manage, coach, train, develop and motivate through raw talent
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and must have demonstrated ability to work effectively with functionals at all levels throughout the organization.
    • Robust presentation skills and speaking skills to communicate and complex matters and solutions to leadership
    • Candidate must have previous leadership experience in a high pace, high volume manufacturing environment that can manage through various challenges (increase volume, labor increases/decreases, inconsistent material supply).
    • Knowledge of SAP, SFM, QADS, PDM, Tableau
    • Candidate must be willing to support full-time on-site work.
    • Successful candidate must be willing to work weekends and holidays as needed
    • Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.

    Ability to Work Remotely:
    Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    Work Schedules:
    Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.

    These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
