    Main Job Duties:
    Identify and lead projects to align our production locations and their capabilities to the needs of the business
    Identify and lead projects to reduce our dependency on single-source suppliers
    Provide direction on best suppliers and supply chain for new product introductions
    Identify and help qualify, in conjunction with quality organization, suppliers for new product introductions
    Develop a 3-year roadmap to reduce risk across the entire supply chain
    Use data to justify roadmap, project scope, and investment
    Participate in supplier negotiations and audits
    Participate in the consolidated corporate supplier bidding process
    Performs other similar and related duties as required

    Qualifications


    Education:

    BS degree:
    Engineering, Supply Chain or Sourcing focus


    Experience:
    Minimum 5 years in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Continuous Improvement


    Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
    Positive attitude with a willingness to be a problem solver, knowledge of Supply Chain best practices, multi-step strategic sourcing processes and/ or category management strategies, and use of PLM, QMS, and ERP/ MRP systems

    Must possess excellent project management skills, including demonstrated ability to create and manage a project plan, establish priorities, work to deadlines and control several projects at various stages of work.

    Must understand the implications of projects to product costing to ensure business goals are met
    Must have strong analytical skills and proven ability to efficiently research and summarize information effectively and make recommendations based upon analysis
    Must be able to work independently as well as within a variety of teams. Must be highly collaborative to ensure the timely completion of projects
