Breaking is an early-stage biotechnology company developing innovative biological solutions to promote environmental and human health by degrading plastic waste.

The company is seeking an experienced Scientist in Analytical Chemistry to lead technical efforts in analysis of plastics and microplastics within their proprietary biodegradation process toward development of their first product. This role will execute polymer degradation studies, develop methodology for extraction and quantitation of microplastics from environmental samples, build new screening methods for detecting plastic degradation,
  • Collaborate across materials, biological, and process development efforts to advance the core technology.
