    As a Chief Executive Administrative Assistant you will provide comprehensive administrative support for a senior executive. This role is distinguished from all other administrative support roles based on the requirement that the major job duties performed require independent judgment, prioritization and communication on behalf of the senior executive. The Chief Executive Administrative Assistant has wide latitude of responsibilities ranging from coordination of business travel to working independently on special assignments, overseeing projects and handling confidential business matters.

    What you will do

    • Provides direct administrative support to a senior executive to enable the executive's achievement of duties and ensure the executive's assigned function or business segment operates efficiently and smoothly.
    • Greet, screen and entertain visitors to ensure coordination and communication of itinerary and changes.
    • Responds to time-sensitive requests for information and assistance regarding the executive's function.
    • Drafts communications to a variety of audiences on behalf of the executive via various communication formats.
    • Screens telephone calls from multiple sources including other executives, customers, media and other sources.
    • Works closely with executive to understand scheduling and issue priorities, and implements short-term and long-term planning to ensure maximization of executive's schedule and time.
    • Makes all travel arrangements, including completion of travel preauthorization form, travel expense claims and reconciliation.
    • Organizes hospitality and other events sponsored by the executive or on behalf the company.
    • Responsible for special assignments or projects as assigned and coordinating resources to ensure completion.
    • Independently applies a variety of complex support methods/skills with general autonomy to develop responsive, effective customized solutions as needed by executive.

    What you will bring

    • Associates degree or equivalent work experience
    • 8+ years experience in an administrative support function supporting VP level or above.
    • Very high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, Forms, and Outlook.
    • High level of interpersonal skills and professionalism to be able to interact with all levels of executives, both internally and externally, as well as Board members.
    • Attention to detail is required.
    • Ability to perform responsible and difficult administrative support duties involving the use of independent judgment, taking personal initiative and having resourcefulness.
    • Researching, compiling, analyzing and interpreting data.
    • Ability to plan and organize work to meet changing deadlines and priorities.
    • Analytical decision maker who is action oriented, diplomatic and persuasive.
    • Ability to adapt to ambiguity and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    This position will be required to work on site at Empower's Hunt Valley, Maryland office.

    Base Salary Range

    $76, $107,800.00

    The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
