    ANPR TECHNICAL ENGINEER

    THE COMPANY:

    THE ROLE:

    This posting is for a Pre and Post Sales / Support Technician servicing the Harrisburg area.

    You will be responsible for installing, programming, maintaining, and repairing specialized security cameras, specialized computer systems and associated wiring and equipment used by the firm's customers.

    Must have clean driving record.

    Expectation is to be Field-based 3-4 days a week with the other days in the office.

    WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

    · Contact customers prior to installations to review installation requirements and schedule of events

    · Install systems at customer sites. To include equipment set-up, calibration and alignment of cameras, as well as loading software on customers computers and servers.

    · Work with Sales, Project Managers and Customers to ensure a smooth and complete installation or service experience.

    · Modify existing hardware and electrical systems (110 and 12v) to accommodate camera equipment.

    · Configure/troubleshoot network and software settings on computers.

    · Provide initial customer training on the deployment and use of the system.

    · Perform phone-based and onsite customer service in response to identified issues.

    · Document installation and service calls in CRM/ticketing system.

    · Perform and document root cause analysis of customers' problems, to support continuous product and customer support improvements.

    · Initiate and communicate changes in technical processes to ensure compliance with operating policies and enhanced customer satisfaction.

    · Serve as a local customer advocate in business unit decisions.

    THE PERSON:

    Experience working installing IT equipment outside on client sites

    · Experience installing and/or troubleshooting PC software applications.

    · Experience installing and/or troubleshooting PC hardware components.

    · Experience with household and automobile electrical systems, including 110v, 12v and low voltage systems.

    · Experience working with Windows 10 and Embedded as well as Microsoft Server operating systems

    · Basic TCP/IP and networking knowledge. (ping, traceroute, etc)

    · Experience with hand tools and electric tools.

    · Strong organizational and management skills, attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

    · Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

    YOU MUST HAVE SOME EXPERIENCE WORKING OUTSIDE
