    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking an experienced Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with ARDMS, BLS, RVT certifications and a minimum of 5 years' experience for an evening shift assignment.

    Responsibilities
    Work in a vascular ultrasound unit with 3 private RVT rooms
    Patient population ranges from adolescents to geriatrics
    Average daily census is 23 with approximately 9 visits per day
    Staffing ratios are 1:3 on weekdays and 1:1 on weekends
    Block scheduling with evening shifts from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday
    Weekend shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM once every 4 weeks
    Rotating call required, 7 days every 4 weeks
    Unit utilizes Medstreaming system; EPIC HR experience preferred
    Equipment includes Philips Epiq Elite and Viasonix Falcon Pro
    Must be adaptable and flexible to a fluid environment
    Procedures include supporting the O.R. with carotid endarterectomy cases
    Green scrubs required, not provided by the facility
    Two professional references are required for consideration
    PDF copies of driver's license and social security number required
    Work with a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic setting

    Requirements
    ARDMS, BLS, and RVT certifications required
    Minimum of 5 years vascular ultrasound experience required; 10 or more years preferred
    Experience in adult, ER, ICU, and portable settings required
    Must be proficient in vascular exams including aorta, arterial graft studies, arterial mapping, carotid, color flow, Doppler, duplex, lower/upper extremity arterial and venous, and renal artery duplex studies
    No first-time travelers will be considered
    License required if applicable
