    Description

    Oxford Solutions is working with an established engineering consulting organization to identify a Proposal Writer to support its Marketing team. This role focuses on developing high-quality, compliant proposals and marketing materials in response to RFPs and RFQs across public and private sector clients. The ideal candidate is a strong writer with excellent attention to detail and experience translating technical information into clear, compelling content.
    Responsibilities

    • Support the full proposal lifecycle in collaboration with the Marketing Specialist, from kickoff through submission
    • Research and track potential RFP and RFQ opportunities on a daily basis
    • Review and analyze solicitation documents to identify requirements, deadlines, and proposal strategy
    • Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and internal stakeholders to gather technical and project-specific content
    • Write, edit, format, and finalize proposals, qualifications packages, and marketing materials
    • Revise proposal sections based on internal review feedback
    • Proofread and edit all proposal materials to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency
    • Maintain and update client contact lists and internal marketing databases
    • Assist with general marketing and proposal-related administrative tasks as needed
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in proposal writing, marketing, or a similar role (civil engineering or engineering consulting experience preferred)
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign (required)
    • Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills with exceptional attention to detail
    • Ability to understand and clearly communicate technical information
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills
