    Description
    Material Handler | Fork Lift DriverPrimary Object of Position: Our client is looking for a responsible Material handler | Forklift Driver for accurate moving, locating, relocating, and storing of materials, utilizing a forklift or other power-operated equipment


    Major Areas of Performance:
    Safe and efficient operation of all power-operated equipment that requires certificationSafe and efficient movement of Product (Including loading and unloading trucks)


    Accurately pick and pack items for shipment potentially with a forkliftLabel and prepare items for shipmentWork with Inventory Control on correct product placementComplete required paperwork and project time-tracking documentationMaintain warehouse orders to ensure pallet locations are kept available for incoming itemsEnsure all items not required short-term are restocked according to established proceduresUpdate the Warehouse Management System with transactionPerforms daily safety checklist and standard battery charging procedureAssist with contracting freight couriers to schedule pick-ups and deliveriesAssist in cycle counting and periodic inventoriesAssist team members in meeting and exceeding customers' expectationsUpdate supervisor and team lead on issues or concernsParticipate in process improvement by communicating to supervisor and/or team leadMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaSupport and maintain corporate quality, health, and safety standards, processes, policies, practices, and work instructions.

    (ISO standards where applicable) All other duties as assignedQualifications Required:
    High School Diploma or GED preferredPrevious warehouse/manufacturing experience requiredForklift experience preferredTrucks - Swing mast forklift, standard forklift, Stand up order picker (this is different from a stand up forklift)

    Current forklift certification and/or ability to become certified within 30 day period requiredBasic Math and reading skillsMust be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions in EnglishAbility to pay attention to detail to ensure accuracyAbility to work in a team environmentAbility to lift/move up to 40 pounds solo and greater weights in a team lift environmentPhysical requirements include:
    lifting, carrying, bending, stretching and standing for long periods of time, ability to handle heightsType: Full Time -Contingent

    Pay Rate:
    $17.
