    Our client is looking to fill the role of Quality Control Lab Manager. This position will be located in the greater Philadelphia area.

    Responsibilities:

    • Staff management responsibilities include oversight of QC staff.
    • Maintenance of the Environmental Monitoring Program.
    • Lab equipment maintenance and external lab vendors providing materials and services.
    • Author and revise Quality Systems focused SOPs as necessary for compliance.
    • Be aware of compendial changes and ensure compliance for all QC test procedures.
    • Ensure Quality Control testing is performed timely on incoming raw materials, intermediate Bulk Drug Substance, and final drug product.
    • Author and manage QC change controls, SOP and test procedure revisions, laboratory investigations, and root cause analyses.

    Required Qualifications:

    • MS Office Proficiency.
    • Minimum of Bachelor of Science degree in a scientific discipline.
    • Minimum 10 years of Quality Control experience in biologics.
    • Minimum of 3 years management experience in the Quality function.
    • Prior experience in aseptic processing techniques and/or mammalian cell culture production techniques.
