    Job Summary:

    Company is in search of a Construction Manager within the Proctor WV area. This is an exciting contract to hire opportunity with a newly based company within the United States. We are seeking outgoing applicants that have 15+ years' experience in the Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Structure, or Piping-intensive projects. An educational background within an Engineering field is preferred but not required. This is an 8-12 month contract to hire position ranging from $85-$90 an hour w/ OT.     Responsibilities:


    • Oversee daily operations and administration at site.


    • Manage and take ownership of contractors' output and help achieve key metrics in Project Safety, Cost, Schedule and Quality. Safety


    • Oversee implementation of companies specific safety policies for the project and develop tracking and reporting systems for monitoring.


    • Address and report safety incidents to project and corporate management.


    • Review and participate as needed in safety incident investigations.


    • Maintain adherence to project budget and encourage cost saving initiatives from all stakeholders on site.


    • Control of Contractor change orders, manpower and resources in line with contract, project budget and schedule.


    • Planning and monitoring of various contractor and subcontractor schedules for the project. Management and reporting of variance and corrective actions.


    • Develop and oversee implementation of robust Quality and Safety plans and policies at site including asset preservation/integrity, care custody & control, and ensure adherence to project quality specifications.


    • Develop and ensure compliance with companies waste management plan and good housekeeping practices.


    • Supporting company in hiring of construction staff as necessary.


    • Lead periodic Training and Development efforts for Site teams.


    • Ensuring that all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company's jobsite rules, policies, and procedures are followed by all personnel at the jobsite.


    • Participate in subcontractor safety, quality and progress resolutions.


    • Participate in all project meetings and field walks.


    • Manage Engineering interfaces between Contractors and Project Engineering teams to help correctly read, interpret construction work packages.


    • Evaluate subcontract bids and bid tabs and provide feedback and recommendations to company.


    • Coordinate and support procurement by vendor identification and qualification, negotiation and expediting for timely deliveries.


    • Maintain good relationships with Site Owner, Contractors and coordinate timely to resolve issues as needed, ensuring project progress.


    • Review and approve daily construction progress reports from all contractors and sub-contractors.


    • Report weekly and monthly progress to Project Manager and company's senior management. Participate in progress review meetings as needed.


    • Report weekly Site Safety Statistics to companies Senior Management.

    • Experience level: Manager


    • Minimum 15 years of experience
