    This Housekeeping opportunity is full time, offers full benefits and a convenient night shift, pm-6:am schedule. We are looking for a dynamic Housekeeper to clean all areas of the Free Standing Emergency Department according to policies and procedures. Participates in performance improvement activities.

    Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways in a clean, neat and sanitary manner.
  • Utilizes the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
  • Transports trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal area.
  • Follows all infection control practices including hand hygiene techniques, standard precautions and isolation precautions.

    Qualifications

    One to three (1-3) months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Previous hospital experience preferred but not required.
